  We will meet at my Pied a Terre and ride a slightly different route to Prallsville and meet up with the rest of the Friday bikers.  After a rest stop in Frenchtown, we will return to Prallsville via Rt. 29 and the ride on Lower Creek Rd. back to Ringoes.  This is the less hilly of my Frenchtown routes.

  Ride Starts at 8:40, from 5 Hart Ln. Ringoes.

  Arrive early enough so that you are ready to go at 8:40.  We are coordinating our start time to meet the other WJW group in Prallsville when they leave at 9:30 for Frenchtown.

  We will leave from Prallsville Mills at 9:30 and travel the scenic Route 29 to Frenchtown for our rest stop.  After a delightful coffee we retrace our route back to Prallsville.  Some riders do extend their ride about 6 miles and ride Lower Creek Rd. to the covered bridge.

  For those wanting a shorter route and a more relaxed pace, give this ride a try.  Be across from Bulls Island, on Route 29, on the northbound shoulder ready to go at 9:45 when the other club riders should be passing Bulls Island on the way to Frenchtown. This is a fairly flat ride.

  USA vs. Australia kicks off at 3:00 PM and streams live on a massive LED wall on the main stage. Additional World Cup matches will stream on TVs throughout the festival footprint before and after the main game. Live music. Food trucks. Soccer village.

  LIVE ENTERTAINMENT DJ MK opens the afternoon with a pre-game set to get the crowd fired up. Then The Suyat Band — led by Hawaiian-born Matthew Suyat, Apollo Theater champion and American Idol Top 24 Finalist — closes out the night with high-energy hits from yesterday and today. Additional performance details to be announced.

  BARB'S BIRTHDAY RIDE

  Birthday Ride…Amwell Valley #2 31 miles (elev. gain 51’/mile)

  Help Barb celebrate her last birthday in her 70’s.  We will start at our Pied a Terre and ride around the bucolic Amwell Valley.  We plan two brief rest stops at about mile 10 and 20.  At the end of the ride we will sit under the spreading maple tree, enjoy a picnic lunch, some cake and ice cream, and perhaps an adult beverage.  Pack a cooler with your favorite picnic fare, we will provide beer, iced tea, coffee, water, and of course, the cake and ice cream.  Bring a chair.  If you are biking to the start, we can provide a chair and refrigerate your sandwich.
