31 C T3 State Game Land #56 Ride

 We will assemble in Tinicum Park near Erwinna, PA.  Directions: From Frenchtown, NJ, take the bridge west over the Delaware River to PA.  Turn left (south) on SR 32/River Road.  After 1.3 miles, turn right into Tinicum Park (sign).  If you encounter a park ranger near the entrance, just tell him/her that you are a cyclist and you are not there to go tubing.  Continue down the paved driveway, pass the big red barn on the left, then turn left into the gravel parking area (don't park in the gravel lot near the entrance).  We will cycle out of the park, cross a covered bridge, and follow Swamp Creek up to the plateau that links Bridgeton, Nockamixon, and Tinicum Townships.  Miles of quiet, paved, and circuitous country roads surrounded by dense forest await us.  The route forms 3 loops on gently rolling terrain, each of which circles around a segment of PA State Game Land #56.  We'll cross over Beaver, Falls, and Rapp Creeks along the way.  One commercial water stop is included that requires a mask to enter.  Bring your helmet (required), filled water bottles, and accessories needed to change a flat so you can enjoy a cruise in the woods of Bucks County.   Regards, Dan cell (908) 399-9016
